![]() The landscape and facilities were nice & well maintained. Having been to other wildlife places in Louisiana, Georgia, & Tennessee, we purchased 9 bags of food & received 1 complimentary bag of food. The admission was $24.50 per person & a small bag of food was $2.50. My husband, son, girlfriend, & myself visited the wildlife ranch while touring in San Antonio. If you want something better, be responsible by planning better and expect to pay more. ![]() Tl dr - if you want to pay a zoo price, go to a zoo. I have a strong inclination to believe these are the kinds of people leaving “too expensive” and “didn’t even see any animals” reviews. I saw people letting their children smack the animals that came up to their cars, scream at them, and throw the food at their faces without reprimanding them. ![]() It’s irresponsible for people to complain when 1) you can’t go over 5mph because animals cross the road and going faster frightens them 2) they’re accredited by multiple conservation agencies and are literally helping bring species back from the brink of extinction 3) the San Antonio Zoo is notorious for poor animal welfare so those who use it as a basis for comparison blatantly do not know what they’re talking about.
